Let me tell you guys, I am so thrilled that I found this recipe from Taste of Home! I've already made it twice and I'm sure I'll be making it a few times more this fall season. Mr. L and my friend SJ cannot get enough of it and I sure can't either! These loaves would be perfect to hand out as gifts as well for this holiday season. Basically, you should run to the store right this second and get the ingredients to give this recipe a try because it is a winner!

Ingredients
- 1 2/3 cups flour
- 1 1/2 cups sugar
- 1 tsp baking soda
- 1 tsp ground cinnamon
- 3/4 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp baking powder
- 1/2 tsp ground nutmeg
- 1/4 tsp ground cloves
- 2 eggs
- 1 cup canned pumpkin
- 1/2 cup water
- 1/2 cup semisweet chocolate chips
- 1/2 cup finely chopped pecans
Directions
In a large bowl, combine the flour, sugar, baking soda, cinnamon, salt, baking powder, ground nutmeg, and ground cloves.
In a separate bowl, whisk together the eggs, pumpkin, and water.
Add the wet ingredients to the dry ingredients by stirring until everything comes together. Then fold in the chocolate chips and pecans until evenly distributed.
Pour into a greased 9 inch by 5 inch loaf pan and bake at 350 degrees for 65-70 minutes until an inserted toothpick comes out clean. Cool in the pan for 10 minutes, remove, and serve warm if you'd prefer!
