Easy Butterfinger Pie

Mr. L and I are currently getting settled in Hawaii, and since we may or may not have access to internet, here are some pre-written scheduled posts to keep you guys entertained!

After finding this recipe via Pinterest:

I knew I just had to give it a whirl.  Three ingredients?!  I'm all over that!

Easy Butterfinger Pie via Food.com

Ingredients
  • 6 (2 1/8 ounce) Butterfinger candy bars, crushed
  • 1 (8 ounce) package cream cheese
  • 1 (12 ounce) carton Cool Whip
  • 1 graham cracker crust   [I opted for chocolate crust here, and it did not disappoint!]

Directions

Mix the first three ingredients together.  Put it in pie crust.  Chill.

Nope, that's all of the directions.  It's seriously that easy.  And also pretty dang delicious.

My measurements also weren't entirely that exact -- my carton of Cool Whip was the wrong size, and as you can see from the pictures I used the mini Butterfingers that are so prominent around this time of the year (thank you, Halloween).  But it didn't matter -- it still came out so cool, creamy, and amazing.

Great, now after writing this post, I'm having withdrawals.  Time to make another pie!

  1. THANK YOU for posting this!

When I mentioned to my husband that I was making a pie for an upcoming church social pie event, my husband proclaimed that he was a "Champion Pie Maker" and he apparently won awards against old laddies at his old church. I asked him what pies he made, and he had no idea. My husband can't cook, but he wants to make a pie.

    THIS WILL BE PERFECT.
